I'm still a bit unsure if my party would be recognized by coding
wizard as eligible to qualify for class changing-we'll see.
So I'd try to greatly develop party before going there .Thanks-that fellow in Harmondale looks very much as yours truly :D

by: Godwinson It came to my attention ,dear BDJ, that some people can not post
on this blog .Can't name the reason .Here a copied post

    By @Vilx -

***A new patch to Rel2 so quick!
Thanks goodness, I'm just in Harmondale, not a pity to start from scratch.
A couple notes about Rel2 so far
    -still red barrels not fixed
-apples on trees on January? May be it is too far easy? Innkeepers still are selling food anyway; cannot see reason for this.
-found in Harmondale four(!!!) lvl3 wandering NPC's, master healers. Not a too much? How about to keep some reasonable challenge for player?

Dont mind if I'm too tedious on such things. The mod itself IMHO is a best thing happened into a M&M universe since MM9 release ( I do not count DM - it is game of different genre), and I simply wish it to be as good as possible.
Still cannot post any replies at BDJ's blog.***
    P.S.
By Red barrels he means that when you drink from them it says you get might+5, but eventually might boost is +2 .

    by: BigDaddyJim Vilx via LG,

I've had problems posting replies to this site, myself. Come back later and it all works again. Gotta be a systemic problem with File Front. But hey! they are offering a tremendous service to gamers ... and the price is right.

Thanks for the'Bug' reports. Reports like these are the only way to get this game up 'n' running.

The apples-from-trees in Harmondale will have to remain as-is. The MM games have database file size limits and I decided to delete the logic in Harmondale for the 'change in seasons' to make room for essential game quest logics in Harmondale.

The Master Healer issue goes way back to Jan2008 as an 'experiment' in coding and debug. Just forgot to 'restore' the balance after the debug session. It has been corrected and will be OK in the next "Patch". For now, just don't hire any Master Healers (ignore them).

The Might Barrel award was an oversight by me. My Bad. They have been corrected to give +5 Might. Again, the change will be in the next "Patch".

The game is designed to be relatively easy through the Courier Guild quest(s) and then it picks up a-bit. Not too much. However, when the party becomes more advanced, in the R2, you have encounters that will require you to return to a Healer several times before clearing out certain areas and completing certain quests. In the 'new' essential quest towards End Game you'll wish it was easier! And the Gauntlet, although not too bad, has some special 'rules' that make it difficult and quite 'challenging'.

So play on. And keep reporting those 'Bugs' so I can get 'em fixed.

    Happy Gaming!

    BDJ

by: Jim Shobert (Visitor) Thanks For the mod , Big Jim.

I'm 76 years old this year and I started RPGing around 1979 or 80 with Wizardy one on a Apple II. I have played them all... I think. Your mod brought back many more hours of fun for me. The golden oldies will always have a place in my heart.. Thanks again!11

by: Godwinson Sorry to overload you with feedback,BDJ,here some more stuff

***I finished one time mod with first available Light Patch.
At first, thank you for one more time enjoyable playing experience, and keep up a good work!
A couple of minor bugs I found, to help make game mod even better.
... minor mess with Maximus quest. i returned from temple, maximus gave me ancient weapon skill, I used free skillpoints and learned mastery. Then went to the Judas home for additional reward in the chest, after it returned to Maximus - he congratulated me second time and removed mastery, my skill becomes Normal again...***
-Judas home is little house in the Pit.

    And this

***Is it good, that wish well in Bracada is giving only exp for money? No bad conditions at all? Because any amount of money isn't problem at all, if still works ol' good DI book bug. If you picked up DI in the Breeding Zone, you can go to any Judge and after short dialog "I lost it" he will give you countless exemplars, worth each 10 tons gold. Sell them with your cleric and gain endless experience, if someone is intended to.
3.My personal wish - if it isn't too hard, can BDJ revive one missing in original game thing - Vampire Cape? You can give yourself it by editor, but without "of the Moon" properties, and with M&MWiew tool I found placed monster Supervampire, somehow fixed. I was never able to find it in game, and I played it hundreds of times.
    4. An idea on Russian M&M forums - if BDJ needs to import some maps of dungeons, there are reports, that resources of MM6 contains more then used into game. Tey even offered to implement a third level of Red Dwarf Mines and quest to clear out the source of Medusas's infesting. Without any ideas further. IMHO, not bad at all.

    Best regards to BDJ
    Vilx***
